Benin and United Arab Emirates strengthen defense and security alliance

The newly appointed Emirati Ambassador to Benin, Hazza Mohamed Alqahtani, recently held a working session with Gildas Agonkan, the Minister Delegate to the President of the Republic in charge of National Defence. The meeting served as an opportunity for the diplomat to outline his mission and discuss future bilateral opportunities.

During their discussions, Ambassador Hazza Mohamed Alqahtani praised the strength of the existing military ties and reaffirmed the commitment of the United Arab Emirates to supporting Benin in its ongoing security initiatives.

Minister Gildas Agonkan welcomed the diplomatic visit, emphasizing that this strategic partnership aligns perfectly with the vision of the government of President Romuald Wadagni.
