Chad opposition leader urges president to free jailed political activists

The head of Chad’s Rally for Justice and Equality (RAJET), Ordjei Abderahim Chaha, has issued a powerful appeal to President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, urging clemency for imprisoned opposition figures from the former GCAP coalition and the Transformateurs party.
