« With profound sadness and great sorrow, I learned of the passing of Serigne Abdou Bakhi Mbacké, Khalife of the Khassim Mbacké family in Guinguinéo, » Sonko stated in his official message.

The political leader highlighted the late leader’s exceptional human qualities, recalling how his hospitality and kindness left a lasting impression during their meetings.

« Each encounter was marked by his genuine affection, warm welcome, and unwavering kindness, » Sonko emphasized.

In this moment of grief, he extended his heartfelt sympathies to the family, the Grand Khalife of the Mourides, the Guinguinéo religious community, and all Senegalese people. « May Allah, in His boundless mercy, grant him forgiveness and welcome him into eternal paradise, » he prayed.
