Despite his youth, Mendy brings valuable experience from Europe’s top competitions. During his single season in Spain’s LaLiga with Rayo Vallecano, he made 28 appearances and contributed two goals. Even more impressively, this marks his second consecutive year reaching the UEFA Europa Conference League final—first with Real Betis and then with Rayo Vallecano, where he faced top English clubs like Crystal Palace and Chelsea.
