Salah provided the crucial pass for Curtis Jones to score the team’s only goal, bringing his total to 93 assists in the English top flight. This tally allows him to surpass the legendary Steven Gerrard, who held the previous record with 92 assists.
At 33 years old, the forward bid farewell to the Anfield faithful after representing the club in 442 matches. His overall contribution includes 123 assists across all competitions. Additionally, Salah remains the most prolific scorer for Liverpool in European history, having found the net 53 times on the continental stage.
