On Friday, August 14, the Olympique de Marseille will conclude its pre-season preparations with a high-stakes friendly against Atlético Madrid at the Vélodrome. The fixture, scheduled for 5:30 PM, marks the final test before both teams kick off their respective domestic campaigns the following week.

Under the guidance of head coach Bruno Genesio, the Phocéens have adopted a tradition of hosting prestigious pre-season encounters at their iconic stadium. This year’s lineup continues that legacy, following past meetings with top European outfits such as Napoli, Villarreal, AC Milan, Bayer Leverkusen, and Aston Villa.
