Conrad Gbaguidi tipped for Benin’s Mediator of the Republic role

The new leadership of the Economic and Social Council (CES) of Benin is set to be unveiled this Wednesday, July 22, 2026. Among the anticipated appointments, Conrad Gbaguidi, the outgoing president of the institution, is strongly tipped to assume the role of first vice-president—a position that would also grant him the responsibilities of Mediator of the Republic.
