With José Mourinho back at the helm, Real Madrid is reshaping its squad. A preliminary agreement has been reached for Chelsea’s Marc Cucurella, who is set to join the Spanish giants after the 2026 World Cup.

Real Madrid is undergoing a significant transformation under new manager José Mourinho, following Florentino Pérez’s re-election as president. After Mourinho’s appointment, the club is accelerating its transfer strategy to rebuild the team after a disappointing season.

The club is close to securing a deal for Marc Cucurella from Chelsea, with Mourinho reportedly eager to bring the left-back into the squad. The transfer, valued at around €50 million, is expected to be finalized after the 2026 World Cup.
