Paris Saint-Germain supporters who were hoping for a livelier transfer window than the one in summer 2025 are about to get their wish. The capital club is preparing to make a strong statement right at the start of this transfer period. Two notable offensive additions are expected in the coming weeks – not before, as both are currently with their respective national teams at the World Cup.

The first is a familiar face in French league football: Maghnes Akliouche.

The France international has been won over by the capital club, and AS Monaco is already planning for the departure of its attacking midfielder. Left-footed, technically gifted, and versatile, Akliouche would replace Lee Kang-in in the Parisian squad, as the South Korean is set to leave the club.

Diomandé makes his choice

The other massive recruit of this early Parisian transfer window is one of the revelations of the World Cup: Yan Diomandé. The Ivory Coast international, an explosive dribbler, has reportedly chosen to join the double European champions, according to the latest information. The transfer could be finalised in the coming hours, as RB Leipzig has resigned itself to losing its 19-year-old gem. Also courted by Liverpool, Yan Diomandé confirms the appeal of a club that has become a global benchmark.
