Ivorian and Mauritanian presidents unite to tackle west african challenges

The President of Côte d’Ivoire, Alassane Ouattara, welcomed his Mauritanian counterpart, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, at the Ivorian presidential palace on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, for a 24-hour working visit aimed at deepening bilateral ties.
