After finishing the Ligue 2 regular season in fourth place, the club from the Paris region must now navigate the play-offs to secure a spot in Ligue 1 for the upcoming season. This challenging journey, which could involve four matches in just two weeks, starts with a high-stakes encounter against Rodez.

A difficult path to the elite

Red Star enters these play-offs in solid form, having secured five wins in their previous eight fixtures. However, manager Grégory Poirier is not taking their opponents lightly. He highlighted that Rodez has been particularly strong during the latter half of the season, calling them a difficult team to play due to their high work rate and competitive spirit.
