The 27-year-old forward, who spent last season on loan at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, admitted his focus was divided during his time in England. While he made 41 appearances across all competitions, his tally of just five goals and four assists ultimately convinced the Premier League club to decline a permanent deal.

Reflecting on those struggles, Kolo Muani shared: “Several things didn’t go as planned. It was more of a personal matter for me. I think my mind was elsewhere—I wanted to return to Juventus. That’s part of a player’s journey; not every season can be perfect. For me, it was a year of learning. I faced injuries—my first real injuries—but luckily recovered from all of them. I think that, combined with everything else, played a role. Now, it’s a new league, a fresh start. I feel like I’m stepping into a new version of myself.”

The journey back to Juventus

The road to his reunion with Juventus was far from straightforward, unfolding as a drawn-out summer saga that tested the patience of all involved. Yet, the striker remained steadfast in his belief that an agreement would eventually be reached, driven by his deep connection to the club and the city of Turin.

“Yes, I was aware of the situation. I discussed it with my representatives and my family before we reached a final agreement. The transfer window itself was lengthy, but we did everything needed to make my return happen. I’m incredibly happy and proud to wear this jersey again,” he explained.

Spalletti’s vision seals the deal

A key factor in Kolo Muani’s decision was the presence of Luciano Spalletti, who had made the French striker a priority target for his tactical vision. The attacker is eager to justify the coach’s faith, believing Spalletti’s attacking philosophy aligns perfectly with his strengths.

“Honestly, I was thrilled to see the coach’s enthusiasm for my arrival. I know his coaching style, what he demands from his forwards, and what he expects from players. Wearing this jersey is an honor, and I’ll give everything to prove myself and showcase my abilities,” he vowed.

With Spalletti at the helm, Kolo Muani is already looking forward to a prolific campaign. The coach has reportedly designed a system tailored to maximize his output, a challenge the striker is ready to embrace.

“I’m happy to hear that… If that’s his method, then let’s go with it! I’ll listen to everything he says, follow every piece of advice. I’ll give it my all for him. I’m truly excited. If that’s the approach, I’m ready to do whatever it takes to score as many goals as possible,” he concluded.
