Adama Konaté sells imported bicycles from France, the United States, England, Canada, and China, but at the new Médine market, he not only trades two-wheeled vehicles but also repairs and assembles new bike frames.

His neighbor, Drissa Traoré, is an artisan who says ‘I offer various articles to my clients, such as ovens, wedding trousseau boxes, stoves and peanut grinders all made in-house.’ He has been working at this new market for over a year and earns a decent living.
