Paris Saint-Germain is preparing for a busy summer transfer window, with both arrivals and departures on the horizon. Among those expected to leave the French capital is South Korean international Kang-In Lee, who is reportedly heading to Atlético Madrid. The transfer could be officially unveiled during the 2026 World Cup.

The transfer market is heating up for PSG. On the incoming side, the club is close to finalising deals for Yan Diomandé, Maghnes Akliouche and Alessandro Longoni. But outbound moves are also taking shape. After Gonçalo Ramos, who is set to join AC Milan, Kang-In Lee appears ready to pack his bags. The 25-year-old believes the time has come for a new challenge and is strongly linked with Atlético Madrid. His transfer could be announced during the 2026 World Cup.
Kang-In Lee to be officially unveiled at Atlético Madrid?
Kang-In Lee is expected to be confirmed as Atlético Madrid’s latest signing in the coming days. The World Cup in the Americas is likely to dictate the official announcement schedule for the Colchoneros. It is anticipated that the Rojiblancos may wait for South Korea‘s elimination from the group stage before revealing the PSG attacking midfielder’s arrival.
PSG seeking around €35m for the transfer
Kang-In Lee appears to have already reached a personal agreement with Atlético Madrid. The only missing piece is a deal between the Spanish club and PSG. The Ligue 1 champions are reportedly asking for between €30m and €35m to part with the South Korean international. That fee should not be an obstacle for the Liga side, which could finalise Kang-In Lee’s move very soon. Stay tuned…
