Jean Paul Ntsengue: poverty orchestrated to manipulate Cameroon’s youth

The electoral expert denounces “irresponsible embezzlers of public wealth, crooked politicians, and men with excessive ambitions”

In a recent statement, political analyst Jean Paul Ntsengue paints a bitter picture: the youth are starving and easily manipulated. He accuses irresponsible embezzlers of public funds, dishonest politicians, and individuals driven by unchecked ambitions.

Poverty is a fatal danger for the republic

Conspirators and clientelists understand this well. Among them are embezzlers who have squandered public resources, corrupt political figures, and men with outsize ambitions. They deliberately worsened the conditions of poverty for Cameroonians, pushing hordes of underfed young people into the streets. In return, they promise them empty hopes of future privileges in exchange for fanatical support, especially on social media. They blocked anyone who could have assisted President Paul Biya in his heavy responsibilities, promoting instead mediocre loyalists.

Fortunately for them, God is never distracted. Spasmodic movements will not be enough to heal the deep wound because everything eventually ends. The head of state, who promised to go down in history as the man who brought democracy and prosperity to the Cameroonian people, is a fortunate man, chosen by Providence. He knows what he must do to enter history honorably. Let us give him our unwavering support for this second half without extra time.
