However, the current president of the Commission for Clarification and Restoration, Pierre Emmanuel Binyam, stated that given the current state of the MRC, Maurice Kamto is the right person to steer the party.

“Maurice Kamto is not the only one who can manage the MRC, but as things stand now, we need Maurice Kamto,” said Pierre Emmanuel Binyam on the show “Interview with…” on STV.

This interview also gave Pierre Emmanuel Binyam an opportunity to address questions about the challenges surrounding Maurice Kamto’s return to the leadership of the Movement for the Rebirth of Cameroon.

“Regarding the disputes over Maurice Kamto’s return, I told you clearly that they do not exist. No body has opened a debate on Maurice Kamto’s return within the party. On the contrary, motions have been signed urgently calling for his return,” insisted Pierre Emmanuel Binyam.
