Chad president concludes UAE visit, returns to N’Djamena
Chadian leader Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno has returned to N’Djamena following an official trip to the United Arab Emirates, where he held high-level discussions with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The President of Chad, Marshal Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, made his way back to N’Djamena late last evening after wrapping up an official visit to the United Arab Emirates.
During his trip, the Chadian head of state engaged in two separate meetings with the UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The first discussion took place at the presidential palace, while the second meeting was held at the residence of Marshal Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno.
Upon touchdown in N’Djamena, the president was greeted by a high-profile delegation including the Prime Minister, Ambassador Allah-Maye Halina, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, several government members, the State Minister and Secretary-General of the Presidency, the Chief of the Presidential Staff, the Deputy Civil Cabinet Director, and the Deputy Private Secretary, along with the Mayor of N’Djamena.
