African nations prepare for key FIBA World Cup 2027 qualifiers
The FIBA Africa Regional Office has finalized the host nations for Window 4 of the African qualifiers for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027. Two nations will welcome the action: Tunisia and Senegal.
Tunisia will stage the Group E matches at the Salle Multidisciplinaire de Radès, a renowned venue on the outskirts of Tunis. Meanwhile, Senegal will host the Group F games at the modern Dakar Arena.
The highly anticipated matches are scheduled from August 27 to 30.
Group E lineup: a competitive clash of six nations
The Group E roster features a mix of rising talents and seasoned teams:
- Cameroon (5-1 record)
- Guinea (4-2)
- Tunisia (4-2)
- Nigeria (4-2)
- South Sudan (4-2)
- Cape Verde (3-3)

Group F promises intense competition among:
