Outgoing EU Ambassador to Togo Gwilym Ceri Jones has described the partnership between Brussels and Lomé as having made significant gains in terms of scale and scope.
The ambassador’s comments come after a series of high-level meetings with President Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé, during which he outlined the EU’s plans for cooperation with Togo.

The EU is committed to supporting Togo’s development efforts, particularly in the areas of sustainable agriculture and energy.
According to Jones, the partnership will focus on creating jobs and stimulating private sector growth.
