The Université de Lomé (UL), Togo’s leading higher education institution, processes thousands of new and returning students annually. For the upcoming academic year, the university has streamlined its registration process with a fully digital system designed to simplify the experience for applicants.
Follow these essential steps to ensure a smooth enrollment or re-enrollment process without unnecessary delays.
What you need before applying online
Prepare the following documents and credentials to avoid last-minute complications:
- New first-year students (LMD 1): Must present a BAC 2 diploma or an officially recognized equivalent.
- Returning students: Must have a valid UL student ID (Matricule UL) and proof of successful completion of the previous academic year or advancement criteria.
- Valid contact details: A working email address and mobile number for account creation and notification updates.
- Electronic payment options: Access to Flooz (T-Money/Moov Money) or an activated bank card to cover registration and tuition fees.
Step-by-step online enrollment process
All registration activities now take place through the university’s official online portal, accessible at daas.univ-lome.tg or via the specialized RESUP platform.
Visit the university’s academic affairs portal managed by the Direction des Affaires Académiques et de la Scolarité (DAAS). Create your student profile by entering personal information, BAC results, and preferred academic track (Faculties, Schools, or Institutes).
Scan and upload required files in digital format (PDF or JPG), including a valid ID, BAC 2 certificate, birth certificate, and a recent passport-sized photo.
Complete payment through approved channels such as partner banks (Ecobank, BTCI/IB Bank) or integrated mobile payment systems.
After payment confirmation, the DAAS team reviews your application. Once validated, a registration clearance certificate becomes available for download in your personal dashboard.
Schedule and attend the mandatory medical check-up at the Centre Médical de l’Université de Lomé (CMUL). Following clearance, collect your biometric student card from the designated desk.
Important documents to keep on hand after online submission
Even with a digital pre-registration, students must retain physical copies of original documents for academic verification and examination purposes:
- A certified copy of the birth certificate.
- A certified copy of the Togolese nationality certificate (for nationals) or passport/valid residency permit (for international students).
- The original or certified copy of the BAC 2 diploma.
- Academic transcripts from grades 10, 11, and 12.
- A printed copy of the online registration form.
- Bank or digital payment receipts.
Pro tip: Adhere strictly to the published deadlines set by the DAAS. Late submissions often result in penalties or outright rejection. To prevent server overloads during peak periods, initiate your registration as soon as the window opens.
