As Gonçalo Ramos’s move to AC Milan was made official on Tuesday, more departures are expected from Paris Saint-Germain. After loan spells at Reims and Braga, young midfielder Gabriel Moscardo is now being targeted by Espanyol Barcelona, with the deal considered highly likely to go through.

It is now official: PSG announced its first summer transfer on Tuesday. Gonçalo Ramos (25), who arrived three years ago from Benfica Lisbonne, has joined AC Milan in a deal worth around €70 million. More departures are set to follow, including Randal Kolo Muani (27), who is close to moving to Juventus, and Kang-in Lee (25), who is expected to join Atlético de Madrid.
Moscardo heading to Espanyol Barcelona on loan
Gabriel Moscardo could also be leaving PSG shortly. Signed for €20 million in January 2024, the 20-year-old midfielder was loaned to Stade de Reims for the 2024–2025 season and then to Braga last season. Under contract until June 2028, reports in the Spanish press now indicate that a loan to Espanyol Barcelona is very likely to materialize, with sources close to the negotiations confirming the move is close to completion.
“I want to stay at Paris Saint-Germain”
Last April, Gabriel Moscardo expressed his desire to return to PSG, where he has yet to play an official match: “We haven’t talked about next season yet. My agent, in agreement with the PSG management, will decide what’s best for me. We’ll discuss it once the season is over. Of course, I want to stay at Paris Saint-Germain, to take part in the pre-season preparation, because that’s where I belong and where I should be. I’ve had more playing time. I’m making good progress, and I think this year at Braga was very important; it gave me experience for the challenges ahead. And God willing, one day I’ll play a full season at Paris Saint-Germain and prove that I’m capable of it.”
