Psg targets ivoirian talent yan diomandé as kang-in lee replacement

The summer transfer window is buzzing for Paris Saint-Germain! The capital club, having secured an agreement with AC Milan for the sale of Gonçalo Ramos, also appears set to part ways with Kang-In Lee. The South Korean midfielder is reportedly en route to Atlético de Madrid, and to fill his shoes, Luis Campos and Luis Enrique have a singular target in mind: 19-year-old Yan Diomandé.

Paris Saint-Germain is poised for an active summer transfer period. However, the Parisian management initially seems focused on streamlining the squad. Information indicates a significant agreement has been reached between Paris and AC Milan for the transfer of Gonçalo Ramos. Beyond the Portuguese forward, Kang-In Lee is also expected to depart the club shortly. For several days, the South Korean has been strongly linked with Atlético de Madrid.

PSG and Luis Enrique pursue Yan Diomandé

While the latest whispers from the Spanish press suggest Kang-In Lee’s potential exit could bring €35M to PSG, efforts are actively underway to secure a replacement for the South Korean. Reports indicate that the Parisian club is keen on acquiring Yan Diomandé to step into the number 19’s role. Highly coveted, with Liverpool also showing strong interest, the Ivorian international is considered one of football’s most promising young talents. Luis Campos is anticipated to take charge of this crucial dossier very soon, especially given that Luis Enrique is a significant admirer of the RB Leipzig phenomenon’s profile. This move highlights PSG’s focus on emerging talent in current African football affairs.

“I’m not thinking about my future after the World Cup”

Currently representing Côte d’Ivoire in the World Cup, Yan Diomandé recently addressed questions about his future following the tournament. “No, I don’t know (what choice I will make). I am not thinking about my future after the World Cup. I am trying to focus all my energy on the World Cup and see what happens next, but I cannot say anything about it,” he responded.
