Cheikh Bara Ndiaye has emerged as a vocal defender of Ousmane Sonko, dismissing claims linking the matter to the Prime Minister as deliberate smear tactics.

Politician Ndiaga Seck was taken into custody on Friday on suspicion of unnatural acts, following his mention in a separate legal case involving another suspect. The arrest has since become a lightning rod for political accusations.

Journalist Madiambal Diagne’s remarks alleging a connection between the accused and his alleged proximity to Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko further fueled the debate.
