Ousmane Sonko concludes Touba visits, praises religious leaders’ peace efforts

To mark the culmination of his official goodwill tour in Touba, the President of the National Assembly, Mr. Ousmane Sonko, undertook a series of significant engagements. He successively met with Serigne Cheikh Say Mbacké, who serves as the Khalife of Serigne Souhaïbou Mbacké, followed by Serigne Cheikh Mbacké, the Khalife of Serigne Abdoul Khadre Mbacké. His day of discussions concluded with a visit to Serigne Fallou Mbacké Ibn Serigne Souhaïbou Mbacké.

Throughout each stop on this important tour, the President of the National Assembly made a point of commending and emphasizing the crucial role played by religious authorities in upholding peace, ensuring stability, and fostering national cohesion within Sénégal.
