Ousmane Sonko and PASTEF inaugurate departmental headquarters in Jolof after extensive outreach

The political party PASTEF-Les Patriotes recently concluded a dynamic two-day engagement across the Jolof region of Sénégal. This impactful tour, spanning all 19 communes within the Linguère department—from Dahra to Barkédji, including Sagatta and Yang-Yang—saw the active participation of party leader Ousmane Sonko, Minister of State Habib Sy, and numerous national executives and coalition allies.

The itinerary featured significant meetings with local religious and traditional authorities, alongside the party’s grassroots structures, encompassing youth, women, and executive movements. Following this substantial mobilization, the local leadership of PASTEF formalized its strategic roadmap for upcoming initiatives. With the official opening of the departmental headquarters and the commencement of member card distribution, PASTEF aims to solidify its territorial presence through a direct, community-focused approach across the department’s villages and neighborhoods.

Concurrent with this internal organizational phase, local political leaders are extending an invitation for unity to militants, sympathizers, and political stakeholders from other affiliations who wish to contribute to their vision for regional development.
