Traoré Amidou has officially assumed the role of Director General of Côte d’Ivoire Énergies (CI-ÉNERGIES), marking the start of a new chapter for the country’s electricity sector. The handover ceremony, presided over by Yves Konan, Chairman of the Board of Directors, took place this past Friday, July 24, 2026.
Amidou steps into the position previously held by Noumory Sidibé, who led CI-ÉNERGIES for nearly half a decade, steering the public company through critical developments in the nation’s energy infrastructure.
The Board of Directors formally recognized Sidibé’s outstanding contributions, highlighting his five-year tenure as a period of significant progress for the organization.
As the state-owned entity responsible for overseeing and expanding Côte d’Ivoire’s electricity sector, CI-ÉNERGIES plays a pivotal role in powering the nation’s economic growth and industrial advancement.
