The Mali branch of the Mohammed VI Foundation of African Scholars convened on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at its Banankabougou headquarters for the national preselection round of the Third Edition of the Noble Prophetic Hadith Memorial Competition. After a rigorous day of assessments, three young scholars emerged victorious, earning the right to represent Mali in the upcoming international finals—a global showdown featuring champions from 49 nations.
The initiative aligns with the directives of the Supreme Council of the Mohammed VI Foundation of African Scholars, drawing 50 contestants from Quranic schools and hadith memorization centers across Bamako and other regions of Mali. This year’s competition aimed to foster deeper engagement among Africa’s youth with the Prophet’s teachings, emphasizing the core values of tolerance, peaceful coexistence, and moderation inherent in these sacred texts.
