Laborex Tchad, a distinguished subsidiary of the CFAO Healthcare group, recently commemorated three decades of unparalleled leadership in pharmaceutical distribution across Chad. The warm celebratory event, held on Thursday, May 28, honored the remarkable journey of an enterprise that has become an indispensable pillar in the nation’s supply chain for essential medicines and critical medical equipment.
Established in 1996, Laborex Tchad has consistently supported the national health infrastructure for thirty years. It ensures the provision of high-quality pharmaceutical products to pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, and health centers throughout the country. Its extensive reach covers key urban centers such as N’Djamena, Moundou, Sarh, Abéché, Bongor, and numerous other localities.
The anniversary ceremony featured poignant addresses delivered by the esteemed Chairwoman of the Board, Mme Ngarmbatina Sou IV, and M. Sébastien Roux, the Deputy Zone Director for the CFAO Healthcare group.
In her heartfelt remarks, Mme Ngarmbatina began by expressing profound gratitude to the Chadian authorities for their crucial support in Laborex Tchad’s inception and subsequent growth. She extended her appreciation to the company’s financial partners, dedicated pharmacists, pharmaceutical depots, hospital institutions, and all valued clients who have placed their trust in the organization over the years.
“You have chosen Laborex Tchad not merely out of routine, but fundamentally based on confidence. Our core mission is professionalism: ensuring the correct medication reaches the right location, precisely when needed, for every patient nationwide,” she affirmed with conviction.
Visibly moved, she added, “Thirty years is a significant milestone. We envision at least another seventy years of service ahead.”

M. Sébastien Roux, reflecting on his 24-year tenure with the CFAO group, commended the profound human endeavor that defines Laborex Tchad. He extended heartfelt tributes to past leaders, particularly acknowledging Mme Maria Mion Calvet, and praised the dynamic leadership currently demonstrated by Director General Mme Tignocqua.
“Laborex stands as an established entity, yet simultaneously it retains a youthful vitality, thanks to the collective strength of its human resources,” he asserted.
He further acknowledged the close collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health, thanked partner laboratories and banking institutions, and expressed appreciation for the unwavering daily commitment of all staff members.
“It is through the combined efforts of each one of you that we are able to maintain a consistent and reliable supply of pharmaceutical products throughout the entire country,” he stated.
The celebratory gathering concluded on a high note, filled with joyous festivity and enlivened by the captivating rhythms of the balafon, a traditional instrument that left a memorable impression on all attendees.
