Here we go for the Portuguese striker
AC Milan have reached a full agreement with Paris Saint-Germain for the transfer of Portuguese international striker Gonçalo Ramos, 25, according to my information. The deal is complete between the two clubs and with the player, who now awaits only the final formalities before officially committing to the Rossoneri.
Ramos joined PSG from Benfica three years ago and now closes his chapter in Paris after seasons marked by fierce competition in the Parisian attack. The striker, who will reunite in Lombardy with his compatriot Ruben Amorim – recently appointed on the Milan bench – is delighted to move to Serie A to relaunch his career in a new league.
A fee that breaks all Lombard records
The transfer is historic financially. AC Milan are set to break their club transfer record, previously held by the arrival of Rafael Leão from Lille for €50 million. Italian sources indicate the final amount could reach €70 million including bonuses, a considerable sum for an Italian club that will only compete in the Europa League next season.
A fine profit for PSG
On the accounting side, the operation looks excellent for the Parisian club. PSG initially paid €65 million to sign Ramos from Benfica in summer 2023, and now stand to make a comfortable profit despite the player’s limited game time in recent seasons in Paris. The medical has already been completed, leaving only the formality of an official announcement between the clubs in the coming days.
