Gabon upgrades B2 facility to bolster national security operations

The Republic of Gabon has taken a significant stride in enhancing its national security infrastructure with the unveiling of a state-of-the-art annex for the Directorate General of Counter-Infiltration and Military Security (DGCISM), commonly referred to as the « B2 ». On August 13, 2026, the President of the Republic, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, officiated the inauguration ceremony at the Bellevue 1 district in Libreville’s third arrondissement. The new facility stands as a testament to the nation’s commitment to modernizing its intelligence and defense capabilities.
