Senegal has recently secured two major funding agreements, totaling 340 billion CFA francs from the World Bank and 20 billion CFA francs from the African Development Bank (AfDB), signaling a renewed confidence from international lenders in the country’s economic trajectory.

Sow framed the recent financial injections as a stark contrast to the previous administration’s policies, which he described as ideologically driven and counterproductive.
