Chad’s president wraps up UAE visit and returns to N’Djamena

The President of the Republic, Marshal Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, returned to N’Djamena late last evening following an official visit to the United Arab Emirates.

High-level meetings in Abu Dhabi

During his stay in the Emirates, the Chadian leader held two significant meetings with the UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The first encounter took place at the Presidential Palace, while the second was hosted at the Marshal’s residence.

Warm welcome upon arrival

Upon touchdown at N’Djamena International Airport, the President was greeted by a high-powered delegation including the Prime Minister, Amb. Allah-Maye Halina, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, several government ministers, the Secretary-General of the Presidency, the Chief of the Presidential Military Staff, the Deputy Civil Cabinet Director, the Deputy Private Secretary, and the Mayor of N’Djamena.
