The Minister of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure of Algeria, Mr. Abdelkader Djellaoui, concluded a two-day working visit to N’Djamena on Thursday, where he was received by the Prime Minister and Head of Government of Chad, Mr. Allamaye Halina. During the meeting, Chadian leadership expressed deep appreciation for the efforts of Algerian President Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune in fostering bilateral cooperation and his influential role across the African continent.
In a gesture reflecting the strong ties between the two nations, Prime Minister Halina highlighted the wisdom and vision of President Tebboune, emphasizing Algeria’s pivotal contributions to continental development and solidarity. He underscored Chad’s respect for Algeria’s commitment to strengthening ties and advancing integration between the two brotherly nations.
Mr. Halina also conveyed cordial greetings from Chadian Head of State Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno to President Tebboune, symbolizing the enduring historical bonds, solidarity, and fraternity that unite both peoples and governments.
Reaffirming Chad’s dedication to deepening bilateral relations, the Prime Minister extended warm greetings to Algeria’s Prime Minister, Mr. Sifi Ghrieb, stressing the importance of expanding cooperation and partnership across multiple sectors.
The Algerian delegation, present during the audience, included key figures such as the Director-General of Algeria’s Agency for International Cooperation and Solidarity for Development, Mr. Abed Hallouz, the Algerian Ambassador to Chad, senior officials from the Ministry of Public Works, and the CEOs of Cosider Public Works and the National Public Works Enterprise (Entp), marking a productive exchange.
