African union commissioner praises Morocco’s development

African Union (AU) Commissioner for Economic Development, Tourism, Trade, Industry, and Mining, Francisca Tatchouop Belobe, lauded Morocco’s significant achievements under the astute leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI during her visit to Rabat on Monday.

Speaking to reporters after her discussions with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, Mr. Nasser Bourita, Commissioner Belobe highlighted the remarkable industrial progress Morocco has achieved in recent years. She pointed out that the Kingdom now holds a prominent position within the continent’s automotive and aeronautical sectors, showcasing its strong position in African current affairs.

Commissioner Tatchouop Belobe also commended Morocco’s commitment to sharing its valuable expertise with fellow African nations. Furthermore, she underscored the Kingdom’s successful establishment of a robust value chain dedicated to critical minerals.

On this occasion, the African official extended her profound gratitude to His Majesty King Mohammed VI for his steadfast and unwavering support to the African Union Commission, reinforcing African governance efforts.
