Psg’s bradley barcola: liverpool’s summer transfer shortlist revealed

With the FIFA World Cup underway in North America, Bradley Barcola is making headlines despite representing France on the global stage. The 21-year-old winger, currently under contract with Paris Saint-Germain until June 2028, has emerged as a top target for Liverpool’s offensive reinforcements this summer. The Reds are keen to bolster their attack with fresh talent, and Barcola’s dynamic style has caught their attention.

While the likes of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Désiré Doué, Senny Mayulu, and Ousmane Dembélé remain firmly tied to PSG, uncertainty looms over the futures of Gonçalo Ramos, Ibrahim Mbaye, Kang-in Lee, and Barcola himself. Liverpool’s interest in the young French star has been well-documented, and the appointment of Victor Muñoz as the club’s new sporting director is unlikely to dampen their pursuit.

Liverpool’s alternative targets

Liverpool’s summer transfer strategy isn’t limited to Barcola. The club is also eyeing Yan Diomande, a pacey winger currently at RB Leipzig, though the teenager remains focused on his World Cup campaign with the Ivory Coast. In a recent statement, Diomande emphasized his commitment to his national team duty, stating, « I’m a Leipzig player, but why not? My agents will handle negotiations—I’m concentrating on the World Cup. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, so I’m fully immersed in it. The rest will follow.»

However, Leipzig’s hefty €100 million valuation for Diomande and PSG’s competing interest may force Liverpool to explore other options. According to insider reports, the Merseyside club is also considering Said El Mala (FC Cologne), Yankuba Minteh (Brighton & Hove Albion), and Matías Fernández-Pardo (Lille) to strengthen their attacking ranks this season.
