Rumors circulating on social platforms this morning claimed an urgent meeting was scheduled at the home of Ousmane Sonko in the Keur Gorgui neighborhood of Dakar. According to unverified reports, key figures from Pastef, including El Malick Ndiaye, Birame Souleye Diop, Yassine Fall, Daouda Ngom, Abass Fall, and Ayib Daffé, were expected to attend the 6 PM gathering amid escalating political tensions.

However, a close associate of Ousmane Sonko reached out to clarify that these claims are entirely unfounded. The source confirmed no official notice was ever issued for any political bureau meeting—whether at Sonko’s residence or elsewhere—and strongly condemned the spread of misinformation across digital channels.
