Under the visionary guidance of King Mohammed VI, Morocco has demonstrated to the international community that its young generation is fully capable of assuming leadership roles and serving as global role models when provided with the right environment to excel. This statement was highlighted in Rabat by Fouzi Lekjaa, the Minister Delegate in charge of the Budget.
During a session with the Public Finance Control Commission at the House of Representatives, Lekjaa—who also serves as the President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF)—explained that this strategic focus on youth development began with a Royal Message delivered at the inaugural National Sports Conferences. This commitment was further solidified through the establishment of the Mohammed VI Football Academy, which has played a pivotal role in the ongoing evolution of football within the Kingdom.
A strategic vision for Moroccan youth
The progress observed in the nation’s sporting landscape is part of a broader national policy designed to foster excellence. By creating high-standard infrastructure and providing the necessary resources, Morocco has shown that its youth can compete at the highest levels of governance and athletics. The continuous growth of football across the country serves as a testament to the effectiveness of these long-term investments in human capital.
