A planned political visit in Louga took an unexpected turn when Ousmane Sonko was greeted by an overwhelming crowd during his stop at the Koki daara. The sheer size of the turnout forced the Pastef leader to adjust his itinerary.

On this particular Saturday morning, Ousmane Sonko arrived in Louga with the intention of visiting the Koki daara. However, his planned walk through the premises was interrupted by an enthusiastic gathering of talibés who had come to welcome him. The political leader found himself unable to proceed further as the crowd’s energy made movement nearly impossible.

An unprecedented turnout in Koki

The talibés, who were present in large numbers, blocked the political leader’s progress. They chanted Sonko’s name in a lively and charged atmosphere, making it impossible for the Pastef leader to continue with his scheduled activities. The spontaneous gathering completely disrupted the original plan for his visit to the Koki daara.
