The answer lies in the fixture’s original scheduling and subsequent alterations. This high-voltage matchup was initially slated for Saturday, 11 April at 17:15—a slot traditionally reserved for beIN Sports’ Ligue 1 broadcasts. However, PSG, embroiled in a congested schedule with Champions League quarter-final commitments against Liverpool (8 and 14 April), petitioned for a postponement.

The Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) granted the request, rescheduling the clash to Wednesday, 13 May. Despite the adjustment, beIN Sports retained the broadcasting rights as per the original agreement. This means that, regardless of the new date, the Qatari broadcaster remains the sole platform to showcase this decisive encounter.

A PSG win would effectively clinch the Ligue 1 crown with six points ahead of nearest rivals. The Parisians would celebrate their triumph before turning their full attention to the Champions League showdown in Berlin.
