On Saturday at 6 PM, the Champions League final between PSG and Arsenal will be broadcast live by Canal+ and M6. L’Équipe will also join the coverage without holding broadcasting rights, offering a unique editorial approach throughout the afternoon and evening.

Canal+’s all-day Champions League spectacle

As the exclusive broadcaster of the Champions League, Canal+ is pulling out all the stops for the PSG-Arsenal final. The channel will go live at 9 AM with Canal+ Foot, featuring continuous updates and live connections from Budapest. A special edition of La Clinique des sports, hosted by Lyes Houhou, will delve into the physical and mental preparation of the PSG squad, featuring health professionals and former player Alain Roche as a guest.

From 1 PM, Canal Bus will hit the streets of Budapest, hosted by Jules Deremble, capturing the city’s electric atmosphere ahead of kickoff. The Canal Champions Club team—including Hervé Mathoux, Laure Boulleau, David Ginola, Robert Pirès, Christophe Jallet, Bertrand Latour, and Gauthier Kuntzmann—will travel to the Puskas Arena in their mobile studio, going live from pitchside starting at 4 PM.

Live commentary and post-match analysis

The match will be commentated by Paul Tchoukriel and Sidney Govou, with Margot Dumont and Dominique Armand handling pitchside reports and interviews. After the final whistle, the Canal Champions Club team will take over from the field. A prime-time event, Late Finale Club, will follow, hosted by Nicolas Tourriol at the Canal+ headquarters, featuring analysts such as Samir Nasri, Aline Riera, Mickaël Landreau, and Tony Chapron.

M6’s star-studded broadcast team

M6, the free-to-air broadcaster, is sending a team with a strong connection to the 2026 World Cup—54 matches covered—to Budapest. Xavier Domergue and Benoît Cheyrou will lead the commentary, joined by Samuel Umtiti and pitchside reporter Virginie Sainsily. The pre-match show, starting at 5 PM, will feature Ophélie Meunier and Smaïl Bouabdellah, alongside Ludovic Giuly, Johan Djourou, and a special appearance by Luis Fernandez, despite his World Cup commitments with beIN Sports.

L’Équipe’s alternative coverage

Though L’Équipe does not hold broadcasting rights, the channel is dedicating its entire afternoon and evening to the final. From 4:45 PM to 6 PM, Grégory Ascher will host L’Équipe de Greg. Olivier Ménard will take over for L’Équipe de la mi-temps from 6:45 PM to 7 PM, followed by L’Équipe du Soir from 7:55 PM to 10:30 PM. The evening will conclude with L’Équipe du Soir la prolong from 10:30 PM to 12:30 AM, featuring analysts including Johan Micoud, Jérôme Alonzo, Ludovic Obraniak, Raymond Domenech, and Béatrice Kaboré.
