The Republic of Burundi reaffirmed its unwavering support for Morocco’s territorial integrity and sovereignty over its entire land, including the Sahara region, during high-level diplomatic discussions held on Friday.
This stance was clearly outlined in a joint statement issued following the meeting between Burundi’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration, and Development Cooperation, Édouard Bizimana, and his Moroccan counterpart, Nasser Bourita, who oversees Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Nationals Abroad.
