The recently concluded General Assembly saw the election of a new Board of Directors and an Executive Bureau, comprising 27 and 12 members respectively. These representatives span the entire spectrum of the sector, encompassing both public and private stakeholders.
During the extraordinary session, members reviewed and approved the association’s financial and ethical reports. Additionally, a key resolution was adopted to amend the statutes, aligning the organization’s operations with the latest developments in Morocco’s water industry. The changes aim to enhance industrial sovereignty and strengthen the association’s strategic impact.

Established in 1997, the AMEPA now unites over 95 active members, including public and private operators, regional multiservice companies, concession holders, as well as industrialists and engineering firms specializing in drinking water and sanitation.
The newly elected leadership is committed to fostering a more integrated and cohesive ecosystem. The goal is to elevate Moroccan expertise in water management, engineering, and industrial capabilities to global standards, both within the country and beyond its borders.
