Violent clashes erupted in multiple cities as fans celebrated Paris saint-germain’s historic triumph, leaving one dead and dozens injured.
What began as jubilant street parties quickly spiraled into chaos. On the Champs-Élysées, a group of rowdy fans overturned a bus shelter before clashing with riot police. Near the Parc des Princes, officers came under fire from celebratory fireworks, prompting a heavy response with tear gas. Dozens were detained as motorbikes were set ablaze and traffic barriers became weapons.
The Paris ring road descended into anarchy as motorcycles weaved through halted traffic. A 24-year-old motorcyclist died after crashing into a concrete barrier erected to block the road. By dawn, a 17-year-old had been stabbed and remained in critical condition after a brutal assault.
