Niamey to host national ohada law excellence competition 2026

The esteemed Club OHADA UAM/FSJP, in close partnership with the International Committee of the OHADA Brainy Genius Competition (CIGHO), is delighted to announce the launch of the National OHADA Law Excellence Competition 2026. This prestigious event aims to identify and celebrate top legal talent in Niger.

This rigorous selection process welcomes all final-year undergraduate (Licence 3) and postgraduate (Master’s) students currently enrolled in public and private universities across the nation, as well as those studying at accounting schools.

Aspiring participants must submit their applications by June 15, 2026. Registration is strictly for teams of three (3) candidates, with a mandatory inclusion of at least one female member, encouraging diverse representation in the legal field.

Target Audience for Participation

• Law students (Licence 3 and Master’s levels)
• Economics students (Licence 3 and Master’s levels)
• Students from the Justice Section of the National School of Administration (Licence 3 and Master’s levels)

Competition Stages

1. Written Assessments:

• Multiple-Choice Questionnaire (MCQ)
• Questions on African Integration
• “Who Am I?” challenge
• Relay Questions

2. Oral Assessment:

• Oral Advocacy (Pleading)
