Morocco’s King has formalized key appointments to the Supreme Judicial Council, reinforcing the judiciary’s leadership and expanding its ranks with seasoned professionals. Among the decisions, Mohamed Abdennabaoui has been reappointed as First President of the Court of Cassation and designated as Delegated President of the Supreme Judicial Council for a second term.
Additionally, two distinguished figures, Latifa El Harradji and Nadir El Moumni, have been welcomed as new members of the Council. Their induction follows a constitutional mandate granting the King authority over such appointments to ensure the judiciary’s independence and excellence.
In a solemn ceremony, the newly appointed members took their oaths of office before the King, reaffirming their commitment to upholding justice and the rule of law in the Kingdom.
The King also renewed the mandates of Farid El Bacha, Mohamed Zouak, and Mohamed Ennasser, underscoring continuity in the judiciary’s leadership while embracing fresh perspectives through new appointments.
